Here’s another one of those posts. It’s Mental Health Week, and as someone suffering from mental health disorders, as someone who has seen them from family members my whole life, I think it’s finally my turn to share my story.
I know you’ve probably read a lot of posts about how crippling depression can be. And while yes, it is crippling, that’s not really where I’m going with this post, so bear with me.
Hey guys! Just wanted to post about my latest StyleSpotter collection!
Sometimes when I’m leaving the house, I want to just rush and get out. This usually leaves me lacking in the style department. One of my favorite things to do is accessorize the simple outfits. When wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, I focus more on my shoes and handbags to make the outfit pop.
Here are my quick tips on making a simple outfit stylish:
So recently, while digging through posts about bikes, Nintendo 64s, and polaroid cameras – I found an awesome job opportunity on Craigslist. While I haven’t had an interview yet, I’m really excited about the possible opportunity I could have working for StyleSpotter!
StyleSpotter is an online fashion shopping website and forum. You can find shoes, clothes, accessories – EVERYTHING – there with prices and coupons. You can also create collections and talk with other people on the site about their collections.
I’ve always really loved fashion. For a while, I really wanted to be a fashion designer, until I realized that would require drawing and sewing skills. There is something so amazing about taking something as simple as fabric and turning it into an expression of yourself. I love going to a thrift store and making an old shirt or an old dress into something modern and new.
So, the reason for this post is simple: go check my collections out! Even if I do not get this job, having somewhere to create fashion looks and finding other styles and trends to follow is something I will definitely plan on utilizing!

Ok, so last week I went to a Disney concert. Actually, it was called Disney IN Concert.
While there were, I’m sure, other 21 year olds there without children, I’m going to express to everyone here that I felt like I was the only one. I saw a ton of little Elsa’s and little Anna’s and the occasional Cinderella or Aurora. I even saw a teenager dressed as Merida. I, however, dressed casually. I wore a dress and some Mickey tights. I couldn’t let anyone know that I was actually screaming on the inside due to excitement.
I dragged Sam along with me. I’m not sure he wanted to go at first, you know, being a 20-year-old dude. But, he’s my boyfriend and that’s just how it goes dating me, I guess. I’ve dragged him to so many girly things or Disney things or childish things that this must have just been normal for him. Continue reading “Being a grown up… but not really.”→
So, today marks my 2 year anniversary of the start of my Disney College Program. Two years ago today, at 4 AM, I was sitting outside of Vista Way with five girls I had never met until that moment, waiting to find out where I would be living, where I would be working, and who the heck these girls were.
It was a tough program, one with long hours and homesick-ness. But at the same time, it was one of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve ever had.
So, on the anniversary of my DCP, here’s my top 10 list of reasons to do the program:
Hi guys! I’m sure many of you looking at this page are either looking at it because I told you to or you’re looking at it by accident, but regardless, I’m glad you’re here.
I’ve decided to start something new – a brand new me, who is doing things that SHE wants to do. I’ve always wanted to start a blog. Whether or not this takes off, I’m not sure, but I’m willing to give it a try and see how it goes. Here is where I’ll post my pictures, my stories, my rants and my raves, my reviews, and TONS of pictures of my cat (because honestly, isn’t that the only reason why you’re on the internet anyways?).
I’m not sure where this blog will be going. I’ve thought about a fashion blog, I’ve thought about a photography blog, but I think I’ve just decided this is a Whatever-Pops-Into-My-Head-Blog. So to my friends and family, and hopefully future readers, thanks for joining me on the adventure!
